Beckenham Place Park Rovers is a football Project that provides sporting and social activities to children and young people in the borough of Lewisham and Downham areas.

The project provides a safe and positive alternative place to go other than playing in the street. It works with the local Police to combat social exclusion and reduce crime.

Founded in 2008 by Hilary Ndukuba, it started with two teams in Bexley league. Following its success as a club the first year, more age group teams have gradually been added. The club now has teams playing in Tandridge and Selkent leagues. For the season 2010/2011 our U14s won the Selkent League title for the C division, the U13s won the Shield trophy and the U16s came 3rd of their league. Though the U18s did not win any trophy they had a nice season.

BPPR also works to helping some of their players obtain level one coaching certificates.

BPPR is open to all football loving children regardless of sex, religion, ethnic background and ability.

The club trains every Saturday from 10am to 13:30 at Beckenham Place Park, Old Bromley Road, BR1 4JY, while for official matches, our home ground is Ten-Em-Bee, Old Bromley Road and Rutland Walk Sport Ground, Rutland Walk, Catford SE6 4LG

For further information on Beckenham Place Park Rovers and our age groups teams please contact any of the committee members.
