Park Rovers is a football Project that provides sporting
and social activities to children and young people in the
borough of Lewisham and Downham areas.
provides a safe and positive alternative place to go other
than playing in the street. It works with the local Police
to combat social exclusion and reduce crime.
Founded in 2008 by
Hilary Ndukuba, it started with two teams in Bexley
league. Following its success as a club the first year,
more age group teams have gradually been added. The club
now has teams playing in Tandridge and Selkent leagues.
For the season 2010/2011 our U14s won the Selkent League
title for the C division, the U13s won the Shield trophy
and the U16s came 3rd of their league. Though
the U18s did not win any trophy they had a nice season.
BPPR also works to
helping some of their players obtain level one coaching
BPPR is open to
all football loving children regardless of sex, religion,
ethnic background and ability.
